Thank You To Our Partners & Sponsors
The Harold Edelstein Foundation
The Harold Edelstein Foundation continues to support many of our programs such as adult daycare scholarships, homebound weekend meals for our homebound seniors and our teen parenting program, to name a few. The ongoing support is needed now more then ever and it is much appreciated.
Western Bagel® started with a simple dream….a dream to provide good bagels to a bagel-barren West Coast. Sixty years later, with eleven retail locations, as well as national and international distribution, Western Bagel® is stronger than ever. ONEgeneration is fortunate to receive donations of bagels every week. Western Bagel has also been generous in supporting past events through sponsorships and gift bag items. Thank you Western Bagel for your continued support!

The mission of National Charity League is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. The NCL Experience inspires and empowers women to succeed as confident, well-rounded and socially aware contributors in their communities. Food Forward fights hunger and prevents food waste by rescuing fresh surplus produce, connecting this abundance with people in need and inspiring others to do the same. Food Forward sends volunteers to local homes in the San Fernando Valley with fruit trees in their yards to help collect the viable oranges, lemons, etc….The homeowners keep the amount they estimate they will be able to personally use and the excess is donated to local nonprofits such as ONEgeneration. If you have a tree on your property with more than you can use, please contact Food Forward and let them know that you would like to donate your fruit to ONEgeneration. These donations are given out to low income seniors at the Senior Enrichment Center as well as distributed with home-bound meals to frail older adults.
SCAN Health Plan
SCAN’s mission is simple: Keeping Seniors Healthy and Independent. That’s been the SCAN mission since the organization was founded in 1977. It started when a group of senior activists in Long Beach, California got together, determined to improve access to the care and services they needed so they could stay as independent as possible. They brought together experts in medicine, gerontology, psychology and social services and formed the Senior Care Action Network, a not-for-profit health plan for people with Medicare. Now known as SCAN, they are still not-for-profit. And are still dedicated to helping members live how and where they choose, with the assistance they might need as they get older.
