Assurance Wireless is a California LifeLine provider. Lifeline is a government benefit program. Brought to you by Virgin Mobile, Assurance Wireless provides Lifeline service supported by the federal Universal Service Fund and the California LifeLine Program. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. Discounts provided by the California LifeLine and federal Lifeline programs are limited to one per household. If you qualify for Lifeline service, you can receive a FREE phone, Unlimited FREE minutes and Unlimited FREE text messages each month

You may qualify for Assurance Wireless if you participate in any of the following public assistance programs:

  1. Medicaid/Medi-Cal
  2. Women, Infant and Children Program (WIC)
  3. CalFresh, Food Stamps or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  4. California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKS)
  5. Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  6. Stanislaus County Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (StanWORKS)
  7. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
  8. Welfare-to-Work (WTW)
  9. Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8
  10. Tribal TANF
  11. Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  12. Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  13. National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
  14. Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)
  15. Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN)
  16. Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
