ONEgeneration Senior Enrichment Center receives National Accreditation!

We are very pleased to announce that ONEgeneration was notified by the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and the National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC), that ONEgeneration’s Senior Enrichment Center has received national accreditation! We are the only Senior Center in the State of California to have this accreditation. To advance the quality of Senior Centers nationwide, NISC developed the program with nine standards of excellence for Senior Center operations. These standards serve as a guide for all Senior Centers to improve their operations and position themselves for the future. This comprehensive process, which included the completion of extensive documentation drafted by the National Senior Center Self-Assessment and National Accreditation Manual, was completed and reviewed by an on-site reviewer. This analysis was then submitted to the National Accreditation Board for final approval. ONEgeneration is proud of its long standing service and we look forward to the continued improvement and support of our communities! Sincerely, Eva Goetz, CEO and the ONEgeneration... read more
